Finals Bell Schedule

Teacher Duty:16, 17, 18

The textbook room will be open during finals.  After you take your final exam drop your textbooks off in the book room.  You are not allowed to get textbooks next year with items on your account.  

Students please remember to clean out your lockers.

Starting Tuesday, May 28th all lockers in main hallways will be cleaned out and removed for floor maintenance.  Please make sure all books and personal belongings are cleaned out of your locker by the end of the day on Friday, May 24th.  Any items left in lockers will be disposed of.

We will have the DLL open at the high school the 22nd thru the 24th so 10-11th graders can drift in after their last finals.  We'll also page this out the 23rd and 24th.

Any students leaving prior will need to turn in their chromebook and charger to the HS Library or JH front office

Attention Sophomores and Juniors:

Report cards will be available for you to start picking up on June 14th.  They will not be mailed. If you would like to have your report card mailed, please turn a self-addressed stamped envelope in to Mrs. Partee.  Also, please make sure all fines (id badge, cafeteria, library books, and textbooks) are taken care of prior to the last day of school. If turning in a self-addressed stamped envelope and you have fines of any kind, your report card will NOT be mailed until all fines are paid.

The 10th Graders' BMI reports are available in the Nurse's office.    Please make arrangements to pick up any medication your student may have in the Nurse's Office.  Any medication left will be destroyed on May 24th."

Mrs. Rogers' Pre-Advanced Placement  English III student Rebekah Winslow won 2nd Place in the Arkansas State University High School Writing Competition:Fiction Division.

Among the events semifinalists were many Mountain Home High School students, as well.

Parking Permit Applications for the 2019-2020 school year are available in the front office

Seniors you may begin applying May 8th, Rising Juniors begin Monday May 13th, and Rising Sophomores begin Monday May 20th

Don't forget to buy your awesome, future award-winning yearbook!  Come to Room 202 and purchase a yearbook for $70 with cash or a check.  Also, if you would like your name added to the yearbook donation list, please come see Mrs. Easterling in the CAB hallway in Room 202.  Businesses and community members have donated money toward yearbooks to enable students who may need a little extra help buying a yearbook, get a yearbook by the end of the year.

The following Scholarships are available online and in the counselor's office:

Horatio Alger Association Career & Technical Scholarship is available also. Due date June 15,2019

ACT is offering a scholarship opportunity for current Sophomores and Juniors who register and take the ACT test on April 13th (registration d/l March 8th), June 8th (registration d/l May 3rd), and July 13th (registration d/l June 14th). The Grand Prize is a $40,000 4 year Scholarship + $5000 Tech Package.  There are other scholarships being awarded for each test date, as well- details are at website.

After school tutoring has changed from Mrs. Southard's room to Mr. Blasdel's room. Mr. Blasdel will be offering science tutoring on Thursday's right after school from 3:30-4:30.

The Math Department will be offering after school tutoring on the following days:

Wednesday .  3:30 - 4:30 pm - Wham's room

Beginning August 27, the English Department is offering free after-school tutoring from 3:30-4:30.

It will be in Mrs. Mattick's room (207, CAB Hallway) on Mondays,

and alternate between Tuesdays and Thursdays in Mrs. Camp's room (702 ACME Hallway).
