Any students who are interested in being a member of the Bomber Yearbook or Bomber Bulleting journalism staff next year need to go see Mrs. Chapman in room 202 to pick up an application by Wednesday, February 26th. Applications are due by Friday, March 6th.  You will not be able to add these courses to your schedule without an accepted application from Mrs. Chapman.  

Service learning applications for the 2020-2021 school year are due to Ms. Beckham in room 600 by Friday, February 28th.

Mountain Home High School Counseling Department will host the annual Junior Parent Night on Monday, March 2nd from 6-7:30 p.m.  This event will take place in the CAB Hallway in classrooms.  Parents will choose 3 breakout sessions to attend from various topics pertaining to senior year options and preparing for post-secondary.  Topics include internships, work study, tech center courses, completer information, and much more!

All these programs are in order by the due date and have the links to register or to complete the applications.  

Any student who needs help with prom tickets or dress or tux rental should stop by the main counseling office or email Mrs. Caraway.  


The Junior-Senior prom, Twirling into the Twenties, will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2020 from 8-11 PM at the Sheid on the campus of ASU-MH. Tickets will be available to purchase beginning on Monday, December 9th in rooms 104 and 304 (Mrs. Lunsford & Mrs. Pugsley) for $25 each. The price will increase to $35 on March 2, 2020. 

A few friendly reminders:

  1. Each student is only allowed to purchase 2 tickets; one for themselves and one for a guest. 

  2. Guests must be at least in the 9th grade, no older than 20. All outside guest forms (guests who do not attend MHJH or MHHS) must be turned in and approved by Mrs. Russell PRIOR to buying a ticket. Deadline to submit a form is Friday, March 20, 2020.

  3. Students must show a valid student ID; juniors and seniors only are allowed to purchase  tickets. 

  4. If a junior or senior buys a ticket for a freshman or sophomore, they must enter prom together and be responsible for that student. 

  5. We do not sell tickets at the door or after the deadline of March 20th.
