Senior proofs are in and can be picked up in Mrs. Burg's office.  Seniors will need to pick their composite/yearbook picture by 10/3/19 by returning their choice/order to Mrs. Burg.  

 Any junior who would like to help with homecoming will need to meet in the library during AAP on Thursday 9/26. Please see Mrs. Pugsley if you cannot attend. 

Any girl who is interested in becoming a BigLil mentor will need to fill out this form by October 7th: 

By signing up for the BigLil Mentoring Program, you will be paired up with a middle school girl who you will be a mentor for. We will have a meeting once a month at the Schliemann Center for Women's Health Education.  There will be a mandatory meeting during AAP on October 14th in the library, and our first BigLil meeting will be on October 21st. Please see Mrs. Pugsley if you have any questions. 

The Jim Holsted Athlete of the Week is

Jr. Bryce McKay is a Running Back and Free Safety for the Bomber Football Team.  Bryce also serves as a kick returner and as the holder for Field Goals and PAT's.  Bryce had 183 Rushing yards and 19 Receiver Yards in last weeks 2 point loss to Nettleton.  McKay also scored 2 Touchdowns including a 33 yard run with just over a minute left in the game to give the Bombers a chance to tie the game late.  Bryce leads the Bombers in All-Purpose yards this year and carries a 3.3 GPA. Bryce is also a member of the Bomber Baseball team and is the son of Walt and Amy McKay.

Wingard will be here on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 for school picture makeup day and senior Cap and Gown pictures.  It will be in Dunbar starting at 8:00 a.m.

Attn Juniors:  Jostens will be here on Tuesday, September 24th in Dunbar during AAP for the junior class ring presentation.  Please report directly to Dunbar and please bring something to write with.

   Jostens will then return on Wednesday, October 2 during both lunches in the cafeteria to take junior class ring orders.

Any junior or senior who is on free/reduced lunches is eligible to receive up to two (2) ACT Fee Waivers over the course of their junior and senior years, combined.   Students should go to their counselor's office to request a waiver.

Anyone interested in being a Student Ambassador for the 2019-2020 school year needs to see Mrs. Lunsford in Room 104 for an application packet.

The application timeframe is from Monday, September 23rd to Monday, October 7th at 3:30PM.  Only COMPLETE applications will be accepted for selection. 

There will only be 20 Student Ambassadors accepted for this year.  

If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Lunsford or Nurse C (Room 608).

Any Student interested in joining FCCLA must pay dues ($15) by September 30th.  

PTO Information

Mountain Home PTO will present Bomber Bingo Night on September 24th in the Mountain Home Junior High Cafeteria.  There will be concession and prizes given every game.  Daubers are $2.00 each and Bingo Cards are $1.00 for 2 or $2.00 for 6

There will be an ACT prep workshop, "BEAT the ACT", on September 30th from 8:00 am - 11:00 am; and a writing workshop: "Understanding the Scholarship Essay: Writing about YOU" on the same day from 1:00 pm. - 2:30 pm.  Both of these workshops will be in the high school library. Please see your AAP teachers or your career coaches to sign up. These workshops will be given by Amber Voigt from the College Access Initiative team (U of A).
