At MHHS, we strongly believe that all students should be able to participate in extra curricular activities. We offer over 30 different sports and clubs that any student is free to join, as long as their academics are good.
The Mountain Home High School Athletic Department serves approximately 800 students in 16 different sports. Our sports teams constantly acheive state titles and records. We encourage you to come watch our teams play at Bomber Stadium, Cooper Park, Keller Park, the high school gym, and the Racquet Club. For more information on athletics, contact Mitch Huskey at 870-425-1285.
If playing sports isn't your thing, we offer many clubs that just about anyone can join (some are class-related). Some of the clubs include: FFA, FBLA, NHS, and the language clubs. Clubs meet every Wednesday, except for the first Wednesday of the month.
Mountain Home High School is also well-known for our band. The band regularly competes and performs concerts for the community. In 2006, the band had the honor to march in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. There is also a jazz band where students practice classic jazz music and perform throughout the area.
