National Honor Society is a nationally known organization. National Honor Society (NHS) membership has been the true mark of student achievement for over 100 years, but it goes far beyond a report card. By empowering, championing, and recognizing well-rounded students, NHS provides schools with a values-based framework to elevate a culture of scholarship, service, leadership, and character (these are the 4 pillars of NHS).

The MHHS Chapter of NHS is for students who display the 4 pillars of the National organization listed above.  The MHHS Chapter meets once a month. The MHHS National Honor Society advisor is  Mrs. Czeschin-Stowers. Our school Chapter has approximately 130 current members. We are always looking for ways to serve our Mountain Home community so if you have a volunteer project we can help with, please contact our advisor Mrs. Czeschin-Stowers through email or by calling the school.

The chapter takes in New Members every Fall semester from the 1st day of school until mid-September. New members are only accepted during that window of time.

We would like to thank the following local businesses for your sponsorship during the 2024-2025 school year: Edward Jones-Krystal Hastings, Lewis Auto and Precision Auto Repair.
