
Mrs. Dewey's December Board Update:


Bombers loved having breakfast for lunch last week! Thanks to our awesome food service department for your work! Our students are so excited about the meals and all the love you put into them!






Holiday break begins on Wednesday, December 20 at 1 p.m. Classes resume on Thursday, January 4.


Mia Williams and Kylie Andrews participated in the FCCLA District 2 STAR Events Competition in Heber Springs on December 1st. They placed 1st in the Food Innovations Event, winning a silver medal. Mia and Kylie will move on to the state competition in March. Congratulations to these awesome students!


The high school FCCLA officers and middle school FCCLA attended the FCCLA Fall Leadership Conference Thursday. There were FCCLA organizations from the three regions in northern Arkansas. Shelby Sisney, high school FCCLA co- president, served as our voting delegate in the district and state election process. MHHS FCCLA had a great day with the Pinkston Middle School FCCLA Chapter.






So proud of our Bomber Choir and our Thespians for their fabulous entertainment during this year's Madrigal Feaste! So much work and preparation went into this awesome event!

Congrats to the MHHS Students and Teachers of the Month - November 2023: Tyler Lukac (HHS Student of the Month), Caleb Perdue (ACME Student of the Month), Kraigen Partee (CAB Student of the Month), Ms. Melissa Czeschin (CAB), Mr. Josh Baker (ACME), and Mr. Tyler Blasdel (HHS).


Our new track will get its stripes next week! The track will be closed December 7-11! :)

MHHS thespians took top honors at the State One-Act play festival in Russellville on November 18.
The Troupe was 3.5 points away from a PERFECT score! Incredible! Congratulations, students!

It's not too late to turn in applications for free and reduced lunches! Online is the best option (EZmealapp.com) You may also setup a payment through (EZschoolpay.com)
They must be done every year; there is no carry over from one year to the next.
Also if your student qualifies for free/reduced meals, this covers the cost of one meal -- including milk. If your child goes back for a second on anything, it is not covered by the application and will end up going on the child's account.

It's National School Psychology Week, and we can't forget to mention our amazing school psych team: Mr. Matt Sutton, our district's School-Based Mental Health Coordinator, as well as our awesome examiners Mrs. Lashley, Mrs. Baxter, and Mr. O'Brien. Thank you for your hard work!

MHHS National Honor Society inducted 46 new members into its chapter on Thursday. These students embody the four pillars of NHS: Character, Leadership, Scholarship, and Service. Congratulations!
