Our Safety & Security Coordinator Eddie Helmert wanted to remind families to be careful what information they disclose about their children in their annual back-to-school social media posts!
Mr. Helmert says the best bet is to leave out identifying information like last names, grades, ages, and classroom teacher names.
While it’s so much fun to see back-to-school photos online, we urge you to use discretion. Even if your social media is not open to the public, there are still ways for people with bad intentions to access this information after it is posted.
Have a safe and wonderful school year!

They're BACKKKKK! Our annual district convocation was Monday! Having our entire staff together was wonderful, and the vibes were IMMACULATE! Huge thanks to our staff performers in the "What Type of Teacher Are You?" skit. We also want to thank NEXT and PTO for a wonderful fellowship breakfast and goodie bags, the MHEF for recognizing and awarding scholarships to three deserving AP scholars (this is a major accomplishment), and Arvest Bank for providing our entire staff with t-shirts again this year (one of our favorite traditions/gifts). We also appreciated Mrs. Audrey Plumlee (4th grade teacher at Hackler Intermediate) receiving the annual Butler Furniture Teacher Shopping Spree ($3,000 value)! What a special day to be a Bomber! We miss our students, and we can't wait to see them. We loved the student participation yesterday from the Bomber Band, Cheer and Dance Teams, NJROTC, Choir, and several others!

You can still register to be a Bomber student this year! Please contact 870-425-1201 for information on buildings and contact numbers! Go Bombers!

For those who need a little help with back-to-school items this year, here's a fantastic opportunity. Please don't forget that all school supplies (besides a backpack and lunchbox) are provided again this year by MHPS!
