2024 - 2025 Important Make-Up Credit Information

1. Make-up work for excused absences:

   • Requesting make-up work shall be the responsibility of the student.

   • Students will have 2 A or 2 B days (depending on the absence) to confer with their teachers to arrange make-up work

   • Students need to meet with teachers to obtain make-up work on the day following the absence regardless of whether the student will be attending that class that day.

   • A due date will be established at that time.

   • Any work not turned in by the established due date will be subject to the MHHS Late Work Policy (MHHS Handbook p. 18)

2. Make-up work for unexcused absences:

   • The student may receive full credit for work missed during an unexcused absence, if the student:

     1. Requests work from the teacher whose class was missed for each unexcused absence

     2. If the work is submitted online, it must be submitted by the posted due date

     3. For physical / paper copy work, submission is required the day the student returns to school, regardless of whether the student has that class in their schedule that day

     4. Any work not turned in by the due date will be subject to the MHHS Late Work Policy (MHHS Handbook p. 18)
