MHHS National Honor Society will be accepting applications for potential New Members starting Monday, August 19, through Friday, September 13, by 3:30 pm. Requirements for membership are listed below. Students may apply through this ONLINE APPLICATION. No applications will be accepted after the deadline (Friday, September 13, @ 3:30 pm).
Requirements to remain in good standing in the MHHS National Honor Society Chapter:
3.5 GPA
30 volunteer hours per year (required to get a minimum of 5 in each semester and then can get the remaining hours anytime of year) with non-profit organizations from 2 different locations/events
1 participation hour per semester within the NHS Chapter with no carryovers from the previous semester- these are given each semester by the Chapter Advisor & Officers
Monthly Meeting attendance - Only 2 meeting absences are allowed for the school year (excused or unexcused)
Yearly dues of $20
