Mountain Home High School junior Faith Hilvert and senior Sarah Amato have had artwork selected from more than 400 entities into the Young Arkansas Artist Exhibit sponsored by Arkansas Museum of Fine Art. Both entries are charcoal self-portraits, Faith’s is called “Monday 101” and Sarah’s is “Beauty in Bloom."
The award ceremony will be held virtually this year on Saturday, May 14, 2022 and will be available at 10:00 AM on the AMFA’s YouTube Channel. No reservations will be required. The online exhibition gallery will go live the following Monday on the Young Arkansas Artists website. https://arkmfa.org
The community is invited to attend the annual Fine Arts Festival May 3, 2022 at the high school gymnasium from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm to see artwork produced by Faith, Sarah and their peers.
