Mountain Home High School Career Academies is located at 500 Bomber Blvd. in Mountain Home, AR. There are over 900+ students in grades 10, 11, and 12. Mrs. Mary Beth Russell is the principal. Assistant principals are Mr. Jason Morris, Mr. Steve Morris and Mr. Phillip Goodwin. The faculty is comprised of 75+ certified teachers and paraprofessionals. Mountain Home High School Career Academies has received charter school status, granted by the Arkansas State Board of Education. Our school is composed of three academies, CAB, ACME and HHS.
The mission of Mountain Home High School Career Academies is to prepare students to enter the increasingly competitive technological world. We provide a curriculum that promotes higher-order thinking skills. Our emphasis across the curriculum will be to raise student performance in reading comprehension, written expression, and mathematical reasoning using proved educational strategies together with innovative technologies. The ultimate mission of Mountain Home High School Career Academies is to graduate students who are empowered with the necessary skills to succeed in life.
