G/T, or GATE, stands for Gifted and Talented Education. This is a special program at MHHS that challenges even the smartest in the class. It works a little differently in high school than in lower grades with high school have Honors and AP classes. In lower levels, GATE students would have a different math and English class, however in high school, Honors & AP classes may be taken by GATE students as well as other students.
