Hope for Healing Scholarship - Continuously Running Scholarship, Next Selection Period Ends February 3, 2025,  Recipients Announced March 10, 2025
Two $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in a degree program in mental and behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.  Undergraduate scholarship applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in the last completed academic year at a four-year institution, or if no college has been completed yet, a 3.5 high school GPA.

R. Preston Woodruff Jr. Scholarship - Continuously Running Scholarship
The Arkansas Student Loan Authority provides several $1,000 scholarships annually to incoming and current college students in Arkansas This scholarship applies to 2-year and 4-year institutions. Additionally, one of the scholarships drawn will be renewable for up to 4 years! To enter the scholarship drawing, students must complete The College Quiz, a tool designed to help Arkansas high school and college students learn fundamental concepts about student loan financing. The scholarship entry form will be submitted at the end of the quiz.

American Legion Oratorical Scholarship - Opens September 13, 2024 on the local level.
This contest is open to 9-12th graders. Those gifted in public speaking and presenting are encouraged to participate. The purpose of this national scholarship is to develop knowledge and appreciation of the Constitution of the United States. Other objectives of the contest include the development of leadership qualities, the ability to speak clearly and intelligently, and acceptance of the responsibilities as well as the privileges of American citizenship.The Post level contest will be on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at noon at the Alley-White Post 52, 717 Market St. Mountain Home. Our Prizes are $1000 for First Place, $750 for Second Place, and $500 for Third Place.  The First Place winner will represent Post 52 at the Department Arkansas contest. The Department contest will take place on Saturday morning, March 22, 2025. The following cash scholarships will be awarded: • $2,000 for First Place • $1,500 for Second Place • $1,000 for Third Place. The Department winner will represent The Department of Arkansas at the National level, which includes an all-expense paid trip with a chaperone to Indianapolis, Indiana. The student will receive an additional cash scholarship award of $1500.00 for attending the Indianapolis Contest. Scholarships are presented to the three finalists in the final round of the national contests as follows: 1st place - $25,000; 2nd place - $22,500; 3rd place - $20,000. The Gates Scholarship - Due September 15, 2024
For minority high school seniors from low-income households.  The award covers the full cost of attendance.  To be eligible, you must be from at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American. Students must also have a minimum 3.3 GPA, be Pell eligible, and be a US citizen. Additionally, a student must plan to enroll full-time, in a four-year degree program at a US accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university. This scholarship covers the full cost of attendance.

Cirkled In No Sweat Scholarship - Due September 30, 2024
A $2500 scholarship grant will be awarded to one outstanding student (Grades 8 -12), must be 13 years old or older. This award can be used for any educational purposes from books to summer camps.

Home Depot Path to Pro Scholarship - Due September 30, 2024
To be considered, you must: 1)be a high school senior, high school graduate or have a GED equivalent; 2) plan to enroll, or be enrolled, in an approved trade-related program at an accredited two-year school (technical/vocational school or college) in the United States 3) Not be an employee or dependent of an employee of the The Home Depot. Employees of The Home Depot and their dependents are eligible to apply for a scholarship from The Homer Fund 4) focused on Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Construction Management.

AES Engineering Scholarship - Due October 8, 2024
For high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility.  Students are not required to be taking engineering courses to be eligible for this scholarship.  Must submit the following essay of between 500 and 1000 words: "When you look back on your life in 30 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful? What relationships or accomplishments will be important on this journey? Award: $500.  


Arkansas School Board Association Student Essay and Speaking Contest - Due October 11, 2024
The Arkansas School Boards Association is excited to once again host a personal essay and speaking contest, offering Arkansas 11th and 12th graders the chance to present before school board members and administrators at the 2024 ASBA Annual Conference, to be held December 11-13, 2024, at the Little Rock Marriott - Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. This year's topic, "Schools of the Future," encourages students to share innovative ideas for redesigning education with new technologies, flexible schedules, and creative teaching methods.Participants have the chance to win cash prizes—$1,000 for 1st place, $750 for 2nd place, $500 for 3rd place, and $250 for honorable mention! Winners will also present their essays at the conference, receive recognition on the ASBA website and social media, and have their work featured in the ASBA quarterly publication, Report Card. Open to juniors and seniors from ASBA member schools (1 submission per member district - Each district may choose its applicant using the method it deems most appropriate.) Students are asked to submit the following materials to the College and Career Office (room 103) by no later than Friday, October 11: 1) 600-750 word essay on the theme “Schools of the Future,” 2) a video of the essay presented as a speech. All entries will be judged at the district level. From there, one winner will be chosen to submit their application to the ASBA contest which will include their essay, video, and a signed parental release form. Please do not fill out the online application. Again, your materials must be submitted to the College and Career Coaching office so that a district winner can be chosen.

Army ROTC Scholarship - Due October 14, 2024; January 20, 2025; March 17, 2025
Two, three, and four-year scholarship options based on the time remaining to complete your degree. Full-tuition scholarships. The option for room and board in place of tuition, if you should qualify for additional allowances for books and fees.

National Rice Month Scholarship Contest - Due October 15, 2024
High school graduating students from rice-growing states such as Arkansas are eligible to apply. Make an original video that is 3 minutes or less about  U.S.-grown rice, National Rice Month, and the importance of rice to you, your state, or the world in general.  The grand-prize winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship with 2nd and 3rd place winners receiving $3,000 and $2,000, respectively.


Virtual National Security Language Initiative for Youth - Due October 17, 2024
Virtual NSLI-Y is a U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs program that provides a beginner-level foreign language and culture experience.Eligible U.S. high school students between the ages of 15-18 can apply to Virtual NSLI-Y Winter 2025 to study Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Hindi, Korean, Russian, or Turkish. Selected finalists will receive a merit scholarship to study the target language at the beginner-level and associated culture(s) in online classes with peers from across the U.S. for 10 weeks in January – March 2025! 


Optimum Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest - Due October 31, 2024
Students grades 6-12 who attend school in the Optimum service footprint can apply for this scholarship. In Hispanic culture, traditions such as dance, food or historical and family celebrations, are important ways people connect and reflect on heritage. We also connect to Hispanic culture through media and entertainment, events or relationships with people in our communities. In 500 words or less, choose a person, cultural experience, celebration, or tradition that has helped you to connect to Hispanic culture and explain what that means to you. Participants from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds are welcome to participate. The grand prize is $3,000!

FFA Scholarships - 2024-2025 Cycle Opens November 1, 2024
Whether you are pursuing a trade school, vocational certificate or a two-year or four-year degree, don’t miss your chance to apply for a National FFA Scholarship to help with your next steps in education. If you are a senior FFA member in high school or FFA Alumni in college, just one application is required for multiple scholarship opportunities totaling nearly $2.5 million.


National Security Language Initiative for Youth - Due November 4, 2024
National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) is also a U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs program that provides overseas language study opportunities for high school language learners of all levels. Eligible U.S. high school students can apply to NSLI-Y 2025-26 to study Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Hindi, Indonesian, Korean, Persian (Tajiki), Russian, or Turkish. Selected finalists will receive a merit scholarship to study the target language in a host country in Summer 2025 or Academic Year 2025-26. 

Track to Trades Scholarship - Due November 4, 2024
Any current trade school student or high school senior who will enroll in trade school after graduation may apply for this scholarship if they’re a legal resident of the United States pursuing plumbing, HVAC, electric, or a closely related field while embodying G.R.I.T. (generosity, respect, innovation, and teamwork). Essay scholarship.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship - Due November 14, 2024
The Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's top four-year colleges and universities. Requirements: Graduating senior who plans to attend a 4-year university, 3.75 GPA minimum, unmet financial need (maximum AGI of $95,000). Must submit 2 academic recommendations, 1 counselor recommendation, school report, and transcript.


Ronald Reagan Oratory Competition - Due November 15, 2024
Open to 5th-12th graders, this competition aims to bring President Reagan’s words back to life through the youth of America. This initiative serves several important purposes, including public speaking skills, historical education, civic engagement, and more. The ultimate vision of the competition is to inspire a new generation of articulate, confident speakers who understand-and can effectively communicate about-the important issues of our past and of today. Note: This does not appear to be a competition with monetary prizes, but rather a trip to the finals.

Welder Training Scholarship - Due November 30, 2024
The AWS Welder Training Scholarship is for students seeking welder training in a certificate program less than two years in length through a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training. The scholarship cannot be used toward an associate or bachelor's degree program. Up to 800 $1,000 scholarships will be awarded annually.

American Welding Society Foundation Scholarships - Open December 1, 2024 for the 2025 cycle with a March 1, 2025 deadline.
Since 1993, the AWS Foundation has awarded over 12,000 scholarships, totaling more than $15 million. Receiving an AWS Foundation scholarship enables welding students to focus on their education and training while turning their passion for welding into a rewarding career. Scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year open on December 1, 2024.

What Would Service to Our Country Mean to Me Essay Contest - Due December 1, 2024
FRA sponsors an annual essay contest to promote the spirit of Americanism and patriotism among our country’s youth. FRA's Americanism Essay Contest is open to all students, grades 7 through 12, including those who are home schooled.  Students are invited to submit a 350-word essay through an FRA member or local FRA branch before the December 1st deadline.  Local winners are forwarded for competition at the regional level and regional winners compete for national prizes. The grand national winner receives $1,500.  Other winners receive $1,000 for first place, $750 for second place, and $500 for third place.  Each national winner will receive an attractive plaque citing his/her achievement, and every entrant judged at the national level receives a certificate of recognition. Prizes may be awarded to students winning at local and regional levels of competition.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation- Due December 1, 2024
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free. The scholarship is worth up to $7,500 each semester. This scholarship will renew yearly and applicants can apply for a scholarship for Graduate studies.

The United States Senate Youth Program -  Due December 1, 2024
The 62nd annual United States Senate Youth Program Washington Week is being planned to be held in person in Washington, D.C. March 1–8, 2025. Two student leaders from each state, the District of Columbia and the Department of Defense Education Activity will spend a week in Washington experiencing their national government in action. Students must be actively serving in high-level elected or appointed leadership positions to qualify. Students will participate in meetings with the president and a justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. All transportation, hotel and meal expenses will be provided by The Hearst Foundations. Each delegate will also be awarded a $10,000 college scholarship for undergraduate studies, with encouragement to pursue coursework in history and political science.


Coolidge Scholarship - Due December 11, 2025
Only for junior students planning to enroll at any college or university in the United States in Fall 2026.  All application materials, including letters of recommendation, must be turned in by the deadline. Finalists will be notified by the summer of 2025. The award covers tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years.  The selection criteria is: academic excellence; interest in public policy and appreciation for Coolidge values; and humility and service.


Equitable Excellence Scholarship - Due December 18, 2024
Graduating high school seniors who exhibit ambition and self-drive and have at least a 2.5 GPA are eligible. Award amount is $5,000 annually for 4 years, up to 100 recipients chosen. 100 $2,500 one-time scholarships awarded as well.

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship - Due December 19, 2024
Students planning to pursue a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or other computer science related field of study and are planning to attend an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States (or an accredited 2-year college, with the intent to transfer to a 4-year institution) should apply.

Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame Scholarships - Due December 31, 2024 (Only the first 100 essays will be considered)
Nine $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to 5 female and 5 male student-athlete high school seniors, who will be enrolling in colleges in Arkansas in the fall of 2024.  These scholarships will be based on an essay stating how sports have positively impacted your life. The winners of these scholarships will be presented at the ASHOF’s annual Induction Banquet, which will be held on April 11, 2025 in Little Rock.

Samsung American Legion Scholarship - Scholarship Application Open in December. Due no later than the first day of a participant’s American Legion Boys State or American Auxiliary Girls program. In 2025, this is May 25.  Scholarship applications are limited to juniors (incoming seniors) who attend the current session of either an American Legion Boys State or American Legion Auxiliary Girls State program and are a direct descendant - i.e. child, grandchild, great grandchild, etc. - or a legally adopted child of a wartime U.S. military veteran who served on active duty during at least one of the periods of war officially designated as eligibility dates for American Legion membership.  Scholarships may be used for undergraduate studies and applied toward tuition, books, fees, and room and board. Winners are selected according to academic record, involvement in school and community service. Scholarships range from $1,250 - $10,000.

GE-Reagan Foundation ScholarshipDue January 3, 2025
Numerous high school seniors who demonstrate leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship are selected to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years.  To qualify, the student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree.

Thea’s VisualArts/Performing Arts/Creative Writing/Film/Fashion Design Scholarship Competition - Due January 5, 2025 at noon
This is a talent based scholarship for seniors.  The 2025 competition season is completely online. Can be used at any college the student attends, but if the student chooses to attend one of the foundation’s education partners, including almost every 4-year college and many 2-year colleges in Arkansas, the scholarship could be matched with thousands more dollars in scholarship money. The 2024/2025 scholarship theme is “Fluidity.”  There are awards in each category ranging from $3,000-$10,000, and 3-10 winners depending on the category.

Live Mas Scholarship (Taco Bell Foundation) - Due January 8, 2025
For students who are pursuing higher education, preparing for the workforce, or using their passion to ignite change in their communities and beyond.  Must submit a video about what you are passionate about. Specific questions to be answered are detailed in the link provided. Video must be between 30 seconds and two minutes long. Must be at least 16 years of age and no older than 26 and employees of Taco Bell.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship- Due January 9, 2025
The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides a multi-faceted experience designed to not only address the financial needs of students who aspire to attend college but to guide them through the process of higher education. Eligible applicants must be a minority U.S. citizen with a financial need. Must demonstrate academic excellence and leadership and community service. Must submit SAT or ACT scores and plan to attend college in the U.S. Must submit one letter of recommendation and four essays among some other required items.

FFA Scholarships - Due January 9, 2025
For high school seniors.  Multiple scholarship opportunities. FFA provides scholarships that support all areas of agriculture, either in trade schools, certifications, or college.


ND Alliance Neurodiversity Scholarship - Due January 15, 2025
The ND Alliance is honored to support neurodivergent young people 16-26 years old, including those who have learning differences like dyslexia, ADHD, and other conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, as they pursue their academic and career goals. This initiative represents the organization's ongoing commitment to helping neurodivergent students achieve their full potential while being part of a supportive community. This scholarship program is designed to break down the financial barriers to higher education, making it easier for students to go to college, focus on their studies, and graduate successfully. In addition to the funding, each scholarship recipient gets a year-long virtual mentorship from one of ND Alliance's Eye to Eye Alumn'eye community members.

Arkansas Community Foundation - Various Scholarships with Deadlines Mostly Between February 1 - April 1, 2025
Helping Arkansas students find support to continue their education is one of the most important ways we can improve Arkansas communities. Most Arkansas Community Foundation scholarships are for Arkansas students pursuing higher education at two/four-year colleges or universities, vocational schools or technical training programs. You must create an account and take an eligibility quiz to determine which scholarships would be a best match for you.

ACTE J. Marion Adams Divisional Scholarship - Due February 1, 2025
Each Division is allowed one $500 scholarship for a high school senior. Sponsors may submit one application for each Division of which they are a member. These scholarships are awarded in honor of the late J. Marion Adams. Applicants must be  high school seniors enrolled in an approved CTE (career and technical education) program and must be graduating from an Arkansas high school in the year in which the application is made. The applicant’s CTE teacher/sponsor must be an ACTE Member. Several supporting documents are required in addition to the scholarship application.


The Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship - Due early February 2025 (Opens December 1, 2024)
Award Amount:
$5,000- available to graduating high school seniors and full-time college freshmen and sophomores. To be considered, you must demonstrate financial need and exhibit academic excellence, leadership skills, and community involvement.

Elks National Foundation Legacy Award Competition - Due February 3, 2025
For the 2024 contest, any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2022, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2022, is eligible to apply. The Elk must also be a paid-up member through March 31, 2025. Great-grandchildren are not eligible. The applicant must be a high school senior. The winners will be awarded $4,000 ($1,000 per year for four years).  If selected, students will be required to perform service once a year with an Elks Lodge during the four years the student receives the scholarship.


 AOPA Foundation Aviation Scholarship Program - Due February 7, 2025
This foundation offers numerous scholarship opportunities to AOPA members, from primary training to pursuing a career in aviation. Totaling over $1 million, these include eighty $10,000 scholarships for high school students to train for their private pilot certificate. You must be a member to apply, but can get a free membership as a student.


AACIA Graduating Senior Scholarship - Due February 14, 2025
The Arkansas Association of Curriculum & Instruction Administrators is accepting applications for up to five scholarships of $1,000 to a graduating high school senior who is pursuing a degree in education.


MFA Oil Scholarship - Due February 15, 2025
These scholarships are offered to high school seniors who are children or grandchildren (including step-children or step-grandchildren) of a member of MFA Agri Services Centers, MFA Oil Company Bulk Plants, or qualified customers of other MFA agencies. Factors considered in the scholarship selection process include the applicant’s interest in furthering his/her education in agriculture or other fields that benefit rural life; participation and leadership in school, church and community activities; reputation for good citizenship and moral character; financial need, income and willingness to work; and satisfactory academic progress.


Cancer Pathways Teen Writing Contest - Due February 28, 2025
Open to students in grades 9-12 who have survived cancer or have watched a loved one or friend deal with cancer. Essay length should not exceed 1,500 words. Poems, essays about a pet, and fictional entries are not eligible. Cash prizes of $1,000 will be awarded to the winners. Winners will be invited to a virtual reception and asked to read their essays.


The Dream US Scholarship - Due February 28, 2025
Find information about the National Scholarship for students with DACA or TPS status. Applications are open to undocumented immigrant students with or without DACA or TPS who came to the U.S. before the age of 16 and before Nov. 1, 2019. The National Scholarship Award will cover your tuition and fees at one of our Partner Colleges up to a maximum of $33,000 for a bachelor’s degree.


Conway Regional Health Foundation Scholarship - Due February 28, 2025
Applicants must be studying one of the following on a full-time basis: medicine, nursing, laboratory/research, radiology, physical therapy, speech therapy, surgical technology, dentistry, occupational therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, medical information, or another health related field. Applicants must also be residents of Arkansas or attending college in Arkansas. Awards may be used for tuition, books, room and board, or other education expenses.

P.E.O. Sisterhood Scholarships - Various Due Dates
The Philanthropic Education Organization is a nonprofit that has helped more than 125,000 women pursue educational opportunities by providing over $432,000,000 in scholarships and aid. College or technical/trade school-bound high school seniors may submit essays or videos about how the death of a parent impacted their lives. To apply you must meet eligibility requirements and submit an original 500 word essay OR 3 minute video discussing how the death of your parent or guardian affected your life financially and emotionally. TEL-AR Scholarship - Due March 1, 2025
The Technology Educators Leaders of Arkansas (TEL-AR) seeks to promote continued education by offering scholarships to deserving students in recognition of their leadership, achievement, and civic participation. TEL-AR awards up to four (4) scholarships annually in the amount of $750 on the Scholarship Committee’s evaluation of selection criteria. A graduating high school senior, whose parent or grandparent is a current member of TEL-AR, planning to attend a college or university, a vo-tech, or trade school is eligible to apply.  To be considered, students must have a 3.0 G.P.A. or better and at least a 19 on the ACT.


American Legion Auxiliary Children of Warriors National Presidents’ Scholarship - Due March 1, 2025
This application MUST be filled out and submitted electronically.  Fifteen scholarships, in the amount of $5,000 each, will be awarded to high school seniors. Candidates for this award shall be direct descendants of veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces during eligibility dates for membership in The American Legion and were honorably discharged. Membership in The American Legion Family is not required for this scholarship. Must have 50 hours of volunteer service. An essay is required.


National School Plant Management Association Scholarship - March 1, 2025
This scholarship seeks to assist qualified students and NSPMA members in good standing who are continuing their education in technical and trade certifications or degrees in facilities and engineering. Any graduating senior is eligible to apply for a scholarship. A total of $5,000 has been budgeted for the program for up to five individuals based on the selection criteria (financial need, academic achievement, co-curricular participation, community service, and essay response). Individual scholarships range from $500 to $1,500 and are based on criteria specified in the application.


Arkansas Plant Management Association Scholarship - Due March 1, 2025
Any graduating high school senior planning to attend a College/University, Vocational-Technical or Trade School is eligible to apply. ASPMA awards up to approximately $40,000 annually in increments ranging from $1500 to $5000 based on the Scholarship Committee’s evaluation of selection criteria.  Scholarships are eligible for renewal when funds are available. Applicants must have at least a 3.0 GPA and at least a 19 on the ACT. An essay is required.


USDA/1890 National Scholars Program - Due March 1, 2025 
The USDA 1890 National Scholars Program offers scholarships to U.S. citizens who are seeking a bachelor's degree at one of the nineteen 1890 Land-Grant Universities in the field of agriculture, food, natural resource sciences or other related disciplines.  Please see the link above to see which universities are included.  The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff is the only university in Arkansas that is part of this program.

Create-A-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest - Due March 3, 2025
Award Amount $10,000- Open to any high school students. To enter, you must submit an original design for a Christmas card, holiday card, birthday card, or all-occasion greeting card. All designs or photographs must be the original work of the applicant.


Army ROTC Scholarship - Due October 14, 2024; January 20, 2025; March 17, 2025
Two, three, and four-year scholarship options based on the time remaining to complete your degree. Full-tuition scholarships. The option for room and board in place of tuition, if you should qualify for additional allowances for books and fees.


Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation - Due March 1, 2025
For students who are incoming college freshmen or currently in college and are pursuing an Associates, Certificate or Bachelor’s degree. All applicants must be the child of a Marine or a Navy Corpsman, Chaplain or Religious Programs specialist attached to a Marine unit, have a cumulative GPA of 2.00, and have an adjusted gross income at or below the financial eligibility threshold determined by the Foundation on an annual basis. Janet B. Carson County 76 Master Gardeners’ Scholarship - Due March 14, 2025
This is a $2,000 scholarship to assist an Arkansas high school senior in the pursuit of a post-secondary degree at an Arkansas college or university in a plant science-related field, including but not limited to horticulture, botany, agronomy, forestry, plant science, landscape architecture/design, and turf management.  


Ben Farmer Scholarship - Due March 14, 2025
Every year, the Arkansas Association of Pupil Transportation (AAPT) awards a $2,000 scholarship to a graduating senior. One of the qualifications for this scholarship is the applicant must have had a family member involved in the pupil transportation industry.


Arkansas Fair Managers Association Scholarship (Baxter County) - Due March 15, 2025
Applicants must be seniors planning to enroll in an institute of higher education (college or technical/trade school) and pursue at least a full-time, two-year course of study. This scholarship is geared toward applicants who have participated extensively with the fair, and is partially judged on that participation. With that in mind, students in FFA or 4-H may have the best chances to win. Baxter County may only submit one application to the state office for consideration.


LDA- Ralph G. Norman ScholarshipDue March 15, 2025
$2,500 will be awarded to an individual with a documented learning disability who will be attending college in the fall semester. Applicants must submit documentation of learning disability.  Eligible learning disabilities include: Dyslexia, Basic Reading/Word Reading Accuracy, Reading Rate/Reading Fluency, Reading Comprehension, Dysgraphia, Dyscalculia, Math Calculation, and Math Problem Solving.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation - March 15, 2025
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free. The scholarship is worth up to $7,500 each semester. This scholarship will renew yearly and applicants can apply for a scholarship for Graduate studies.

AAA/Centennial Bank Scholar Program - Due April 1, 2025
Ten scholarships of $1,000 will be given to senior student-athletes who are registered with the AAA (5 girls, 5 boys).  Must have a 7-semester minimum GPA of 3.0, a minimum ACT score of 21 or at least 900 on the SAT, be a senior student-athlete registered with the AAA, meet NCAA Scholarship rules, display good citizenship in school and in the community, display desirable leadership traits and have participated in other school activities.


Arkansas Chamber Singers Music/Vocal Scholarship - Due April 1, 2025
Available for Arkansan graduating seniors planning on majoring in Voice or Music.  Must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and must major in music with emphasis in choral or vocal performance.  An audition and interview will be held on April 6,, 2025  in Little Rock. The $2,000 music scholarship award will be paid directly to the student upon verification of college enrollment.


Baxter Global Scholarship Program - April 1, 2025
This is a competitive, merit-based scholarship program to assist children of eligible Baxter employees who plan to continue their education in college or vocational school programs. The scholarship award amount is $3,000. Applicants must be a high school graduating senior and be the child of a current, active employee of Baxter International Inc.   The employee must have completed at least two (2) full years of full-time or regular part-time service, as determined by Baxter.


Men’s College Scholarship - Due April 1, 2025
The scholarship is designed to identify and reward outstanding high school seniors who have demonstrated an ability to excel in the fields of academics, extra-curricular school activities and community involvement. The scholarship is available to any male, graduating high school senior who is enrolling in a four-year undergraduate college program that commences in the fall. The scholarship is awarded through the Foundation for Fraternal Excellence, a registered 501(c)3 organization. Current or future membership in a fraternity is not required.


AACTEA Scholarship - April 1, 2025
The Arkansas Association of Career and Technical Education Administrators (AACTEA) is offering scholarships to high school seniors to supplement education costs during their freshman year. The scholarship awards are a minimum of $500 each and will be awarded to full-time or part-time students who enroll in an Arkansas college or university, including junior colleges, community colleges, and vocational/technical colleges. Eligibility requirements include: Concentrator or Completer status on at least one program of study; having a minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 grading scale; exhibiting a good citizenship record with no suspensions or expulsions; attempted or achieved an industry certification (ex CRC, OSHA, MTA); planning to major in a demand occupation (listed on

Celebration of Life Scholarship - Due April 1, 2025
Awarded to a high school senior in the state of Arkansas, whose life has been affected by childhood cancer in some way. This award will be given to an individual who has been impacted by pediatric cancer but continues to celebrate every moment of life and live it to the fullest. This person may have had cancer themselves or had a family member or friend with pediatric cancer.


ARKTESOL Scholarship - Due April 1, 2025
High School Seniors, Current or Former ESOL in Arkansas (no foreign exchange) students may apply for a $1,000 Student Scholarship. The scholarship is potentially renewable for four years for a total amount of $4,000. Applicants must be committed to pursue education beyond high school and have received an acceptance into the college/university/trade school by April 1, display financial need, and provide a transcript (but no minimum GPA required). Must maintain a 2.0 college GPA to renew each year. Will be paid directly to the college once they receive the documentation of enrollment.


Steer Your Future Scholarship - Due April 1, 2025

Up to two scholarships will be awarded to a student of an AAEA member pursuing the field of education. Only graduating seniors who are the child of an Arkansas certified educator currently employed in an Arkansas public school district are eligible to apply. Up to 2 scholarships at $1,000 each will be awarded.

Mandy Coats Memorial Scholarship Fund - Due April 1, 2025
Applicant must be an Arkansas high school senior who is applying for a college scholarship for the freshman year; an active member of a church and/or other Christian organization; plan to attend an accredited college or university on a full-time basis; of high moral character, exhibit a strong work ethic, and be intellectually qualified for the desired pursuit;  have and maintain a grade point average of 2.0 or better (scholarship award will be forfeited if the student’s GPA falls below 2.0); and be willing to accept a scholarship as a gift from God and be willing to later help others as a result.

AASFAA  Scholarship - Due April 1, 2025
The Arkansas Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (AASFAA) will award at least two $500 scholarships to Arkansas students planning to attend member institutions.  These are non-renewable awards. To apply, complete the application online. Scholarship winners must be enrolled at least half time in 2025-2026 in a program that leads to a college degree or certificate at an AASFAA member institution. All applications must be entered by April 1, 2025.  Any application received after that date will not be considered.  Limit one entry per person.  Winners will be selected at a random drawing and recipients will be notified.

Carl Tapp Technician Scholarship Application - Due April 4, 2025
This scholarship will be awarded for one year for a full time student who will be attending a medium/heavy duty truck technician program from a school in Arkansas. Students may start school either in the Fall or Spring semester. The application has two sections: one that will be filled out by an official from the high school, and another section that will be filled out by the student.


Arkansas Rice Reps Scholarship - Due April 4, 2025
For current high school juniors graduating in 2026..  This is a five month program (May through Sept.) to help educate students about the rice industry while equipping them to act as advocates in their communities and on social media.  At the end of the program, Rice Reps are able to submit a scholarship application.


HonorsGradU - Design a Better Future Scholarship - April 7, 2025
Any high school senior is eligible to apply. There are several phases to this scholarship process. Submit your proposal for how you can better your community. Five students will be awarded $10,000 towards college tuition. Optional: send your work by March 3, 2025 for some feedback before the final deadline.

Rock City Running-Kinco Constructors Student Athlete Scholarship - Due April 11, 2025
This scholarship will honor one male and one female senior from the state of Arkansas who exhibit the character qualities of leadership, sportsmanship, and integrity. Applicants must have participated in at least two seasons of cross country, indoor track, and/or outdoor track. Recipients will receive a $1,500 scholarship and a complimentary pair of ON running shoes.


Fleet Reserve Association Non-Member Education Scholarship - Due April 15, 2025
You may apply for FRA Non-Member Scholarship if the applicant or sponsor is an FRA non-member, living, on active duty, reserve, retired, or honorably discharged veteran of the Navy, Marine Corps or Coast Guard. The applicant must be an FRA non-member; spouse; dependent biological, step, or adoptive child; or biological, step, or adoptive grandchild; or biological, step, or adoptive great grandchild of the FRA non-member.



Create Real Impact Contest- Due April 15, 2025
The Create Real Impact Contest calls on students, ages 14-22, to showcase their positive solutions and strategies to stop the #1 killer of young people–car crashes caused by reckless and distracted driving. Students submit one entry into one of two categories: Video or Graphic Design. Get local community champions involved, such as your local first responder agencies and elected officials, for another chance to win in the Community Champions Bonus Points category.


HOSA-Future Health Professionals Scholarships - Due April 15, 2025

Arkansas American Legion Coudet-Garner Trust Scholarships - Due April 18, 2025
The Garner Trust will give four $2,500 scholarships and the Coudet Trust will give four $1,000 scholarships to eligible students. Applicants must be children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren of American Legion members and reside in Arkansas.

HVAC Hero Scholarship - May 31, 2025
Every year, The HVAC HERO scholarship program awards $2,500 to up to 20 students pursuing an HVAC degree at a community college, trade school, or technical institute. Two $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in a degree program in mental and behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.  Undergraduate scholarship applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in the last completed academic year at a four-year institution, or if no college has been completed yet, a 3.5 high school GPA.

R. Preston Woodruff Jr. Scholarship - Continuously Running Scholarship
The Arkansas Student Loan Authority provides several $1,000 scholarships annually to incoming and current college students in Arkansas This scholarship applies to 2-year and 4-year institutions. Additionally, one of the scholarships drawn will be renewable for up to 4 years! To enter the scholarship drawing, students must complete The College Quiz, a tool designed to help Arkansas high school and college students learn fundamental concepts about student loan financing. The scholarship entry form will be submitted at the end of the quiz.

American Legion Oratorical Scholarship - Opens September 13, 2024 on the local level.
This contest is open to 9-12th graders. Those gifted in public speaking and presenting are encouraged to participate. The purpose of this national scholarship is to develop knowledge and appreciation of the Constitution of the United States. Other objectives of the contest include the development of leadership qualities, the ability to speak clearly and intelligently, and acceptance of the responsibilities as well as the privileges of American citizenship.The Post level contest will be on Saturday, February 15, 2025 at noon at the Alley-White Post 52, 717 Market St. Mountain Home. Our Prizes are $1000 for First Place, $750 for Second Place, and $500 for Third Place.  The First Place winner will represent Post 52 at the Department Arkansas contest. The Department contest will take place on Saturday morning, March 22, 2025. The following cash scholarships will be awarded: • $2,000 for First Place • $1,500 for Second Place • $1,000 for Third Place. The Department winner will represent The Department of Arkansas at the National level, which includes an all-expense paid trip with a chaperone to Indianapolis, Indiana. The student will receive an additional cash scholarship award of $1500.00 for attending the Indianapolis Contest. Scholarships are presented to the three finalists in the final round of the national contests as follows: 1st place - $25,000; 2nd place - $22,500; 3rd place - $20,000. The Gates Scholarship - Due September 15, 2024
For minority high school seniors from low-income households.  The award covers the full cost of attendance.  To be eligible, you must be from at least one of the following ethnicities: African-American, American Indian/Alaska Native*, Asian & Pacific Islander American, and/or Hispanic American. Students must also have a minimum 3.3 GPA, be Pell eligible, and be a US citizen. Additionally, a student must plan to enroll full-time, in a four-year degree program at a US accredited, not-for-profit, private or public college or university. This scholarship covers the full cost of attendance.

For high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility.  Students are not required to be taking engineering courses to be eligible for this scholarship.  Must submit the following essay of between 500 and 1000 words: "When you look back on your life in 30 years, what would it take for you to consider your life successful? What relationships or accomplishments will be important on this journey? Award: $500.  


Arkansas School Board Association Student Essay and Speaking Contest - Due October 11, 2024

The Arkansas School Boards Association is excited to once again host a personal essay and speaking contest, offering Arkansas 11th and 12th graders the chance to present before school board members and administrators at the 2024 ASBA Annual Conference, to be held December 11-13, 2024, at the Little Rock Marriott - Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock. This year's topic, "Schools of the Future," encourages students to share innovative ideas for redesigning education with new technologies, flexible schedules, and creative teaching methods.Participants have the chance to win cash prizes—$1,000 for 1st place, $750 for 2nd place, $500 for 3rd place, and $250 for honorable mention! Winners will also present their essays at the conference, receive recognition on the ASBA website and social media, and have their work featured in the ASBA quarterly publication, Report Card. Open to juniors and seniors from ASBA member schools (1 submission per member district - Each district may choose its applicant using the method it deems most appropriate.) Students are asked to submit the following materials to the College and Career Office (room 103) by no later than Friday, October 11: 1) 600-750 word essay on the theme “Schools of the Future,” 2) a video of the essay presented as a speech. All entries will be judged at the district level. From there, one winner will be chosen to submit their application to the ASBA contest which will include their essay, video, and a signed parental release form. High school graduating students from rice-growing states such as Arkansas are eligible to apply. Make an original video that is 3 minutes or less about  U.S.-grown rice, National Rice Month, and the importance of rice to you, your state, or the world in general.  The grand-prize winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship with 2nd and 3rd place winners receiving $3,000 and $2,000, respectively.


Virtual National Security Language Initiative for Youth - Due October 17, 2024
Virtual NSLI-Y is a U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs program that provides a beginner-level foreign language and culture experience.Eligible U.S. high school students between the ages of 15-18 can apply to Virtual NSLI-Y Winter 2025 to study Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Hindi, Korean, Russian, or Turkish. Selected finalists will receive a merit scholarship to study the target language at the beginner-level and associated culture(s) in online classes with peers from across the U.S. for 10 weeks in January – March 2025! 


Optimum Hispanic Heritage Essay Contest - Due October 31, 2024
Students grades 6-12 who attend school in the Optimum service footprint can apply for this scholarship. In Hispanic culture, traditions such as dance, food or historical and family celebrations, are important ways people connect and reflect on heritage. We also connect to Hispanic culture through media and entertainment, events or relationships with people in our communities. In 500 words or less, choose a person, cultural experience, celebration, or tradition that has helped you to connect to Hispanic culture and explain what that means to you. Participants from all cultural and ethnic backgrounds are welcome to participate. The grand prize is $3,000!

National Security Language Initiative for Youth - Due November 4, 2024
National Security Language Initiative for Youth (NSLI-Y) is also a U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs program that provides overseas language study opportunities for high school language learners of all levels. Eligible U.S. high school students can apply to NSLI-Y 2025-26 to study Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), Hindi, Indonesian, Korean, Persian (Tajiki), Russian, or Turkish. Selected finalists will receive a merit scholarship to study the target language in a host country in Summer 2025 or Academic Year 2025-26. 

Track to Trades Scholarship - Due November 4, 2024
Any current trade school student or high school senior who will enroll in trade school after graduation may apply for this scholarship if they’re a legal resident of the United States pursuing plumbing, HVAC, electric, or a closely related field while embodying G.R.I.T. (generosity, respect, innovation, and teamwork). Essay scholarship.

Jack Kent Cooke Foundation Scholarship - Due November 14, 2024
The Cooke College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend and graduate from the nation's top four-year colleges and universities. Requirements: Graduating senior who plans to attend a 4-year university, 3.75 GPA minimum, unmet financial need (maximum AGI of $95,000). Must submit 2 academic recommendations, 1 counselor recommendation, school report, and transcript.


Ronald Reagan Oratory Competition - Due November 15, 2024
Open to 5th-12th graders, this competition aims to bring President Reagan’s words back to life through the youth of America. This initiative serves several important purposes, including public speaking skills, historical education, civic engagement, and more. The ultimate vision of the competition is to inspire a new generation of articulate, confident speakers who understand-and can effectively communicate about-the important issues of our past and of today. Note: This does not appear to be a competition with monetary prizes, but rather a trip to the finals.

Welder Training Scholarship - Due November 30, 2024
The AWS Welder Training Scholarship is for students seeking welder training in a certificate program less than two years in length through a trade school, community college, or other facility providing welder training. The scholarship cannot be used toward an associate or bachelor's degree program. Up to 800 $1,000 scholarships will be awarded annually.

American Welding Society Foundation Scholarships - Open December 1, 2024 for the 2025 cycle with a March 1, 2025 deadline.
Since 1993, the AWS Foundation has awarded over 12,000 scholarships, totaling more than $15 million. Receiving an AWS Foundation scholarship enables welding students to focus on their education and training while turning their passion for welding into a rewarding career. Scholarships for the 2025-2026 academic year open on December 1, 2024.

What Would Service to Our Country Mean to Me Essay Contest - Due December 1, 2024
FRA sponsors an annual essay contest to promote the spirit of Americanism and patriotism among our country’s youth. FRA's Americanism Essay Contest is open to all students, grades 7 through 12, including those who are home schooled.  Students are invited to submit a 350-word essay through an FRA member or local FRA branch before the December 1st deadline.  Local winners are forwarded for competition at the regional level and regional winners compete for national prizes. The grand national winner receives $1,500.  Other winners receive $1,000 for first place, $750 for second place, and $500 for third place.  Each national winner will receive an attractive plaque citing his/her achievement, and every entrant judged at the national level receives a certificate of recognition. Prizes may be awarded to students winning at local and regional levels of competition.

Hagan Scholarship Foundation- Due December 1, 2024
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to graduate college debt-free. The scholarship is worth up to $7,500 each semester. This scholarship will renew yearly and applicants can apply for a scholarship for Graduate studies.

The United States Senate Youth Program -  Due December 1, 2024
The 62nd annual United States Senate Youth Program Washington Week is being planned to be held in person in Washington, D.C. March 1–8, 2025. Two student leaders from each state, the District of Columbia and the Department of Defense Education Activity will spend a week in Washington experiencing their national government in action. Students must be actively serving in high-level elected or appointed leadership positions to qualify. Students will participate in meetings with the president and a justice of the U.S. Supreme Court. All transportation, hotel and meal expenses will be provided by The Hearst Foundations. Each delegate will also be awarded a $10,000 college scholarship for undergraduate studies, with encouragement to pursue coursework in history and political science.




Equitable Excellence Scholarship - Due December 18, 2024
Graduating high school seniors who exhibit ambition and self-drive and have at least a 2.5 GPA are eligible. Award amount is $5,000 annually for 4 years, up to 100 recipients chosen. 100 $2,500 one-time scholarships awarded as well.

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship - Due December 19, 2024
Students planning to pursue a bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, robotics, or other computer science related field of study and are planning to attend an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States (or an accredited 2-year college, with the intent to transfer to a 4-year institution) should apply.


Home Depot Path to Pro Scholarship - Due December 31, 2024
To be considered, you must: 1)be a high school senior, high school graduate or have a GED equivalent; 2) plan to enroll, or be enrolled, in an approved trade-related program at an accredited two-year school (technical/vocational school or college) in the United States 3) Not be an employee or dependent of an employee of the The Home Depot. Employees of The Home Depot and their dependents are eligible to apply for a scholarship from The Homer Fund 4) focused on Carpentry, Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, or Construction Management.

Arkansas Sports Hall of Fame Scholarships - Due December 31, 2024 (Only the first 100 essays will be considered)
Nine $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to 5 female and 5 male student-athlete high school seniors, who will be enrolling in colleges in Arkansas in the fall of 2024.  These scholarships will be based on an essay stating how sports have positively impacted your life. The winners of these scholarships will be presented at the ASHOF’s annual Induction Banquet, which will be held on April 11, 2025 in Little Rock.

GE-Reagan Foundation ScholarshipDue January 3, 2025
Numerous high school seniors who demonstrate leadership, integrity, drive, and citizenship are selected to receive a $10,000 scholarship renewable for up to an additional three years.  To qualify, the student must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and plan to enroll in a full-time undergraduate course of study toward a bachelor’s degree.

Thea’s VisualArts/Performing Arts/Creative Writing/Film/Fashion Design Scholarship Competition - Due January 5, 2025 at noon
This is a talent based scholarship for seniors.  The 2025 competition season is completely online. Can be used at any college the student attends, but if the student chooses to attend one of the foundation’s education partners, including almost every 4-year college and many 2-year colleges in Arkansas, the scholarship could be matched with thousands more dollars in scholarship money. The 2024/2025 scholarship theme is “Fluidity.”  There are awards in each category ranging from $3,000-$10,000, and 3-10 winners depending on the category.

Live Mas Scholarship (Taco Bell Foundation) - Due January 8, 2025
For students who are pursuing higher education, preparing for the workforce, or using their passion to ignite change in their communities and beyond.  Must submit a video about what you are passionate about. Specific questions to be answered are detailed in the link provided. Video must be between 30 seconds and two minutes long. Must be at least 16 years of age and no older than 26 and employees of Taco Bell.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship- Due January 9, 2025
The Jackie Robinson Foundation provides a multi-faceted experience designed to not only address the financial needs of students who aspire to attend college but to guide them through the process of higher education. Eligible applicants must be a minority U.S. citizen with a financial need. Must demonstrate academic excellence and leadership and community service. Must submit SAT or ACT scores and plan to attend college in the U.S. Must submit one letter of recommendation and four essays among some other required items.

FFA Scholarships - Due January 9, 2025
For high school seniors.  Multiple scholarship opportunities. FFA provides scholarships that support all areas of agriculture, either in trade schools, certifications, or college.


Army ROTC Scholarship - Due October 14, 2024; January 20, 2025; March 17, 2025
Two, three, and four-year scholarship options based on the time remaining to complete your degree. Full-tuition scholarships. The option for room and board in place of tuition, if you should qualify for additional allowances for books and fees.

Arkansas Community Foundation - Various Scholarships with Deadlines Mostly Between February 1 - April 1, 2025
Helping Arkansas students find support to continue their education is one of the most important ways we can improve Arkansas communities. Most Arkansas Community Foundation scholarships are for Arkansas students pursuing higher education at two/four-year colleges or universities, vocational schools or technical training programs. You must create an account and take an eligibility quiz to determine which scholarships would be a best match for you.

The Jimmy Rane Foundation Scholarship - Due early February 2025 (Opens December 1, 2024)
Award Amount:
$5,000- available to graduating high school seniors and full-time college freshmen and sophomores. To be considered, you must demonstrate financial need and exhibit academic excellence, leadership skills, and community involvement.


Hope for Healing Scholarship - Continuously Running Scholarship, Next Selection Period Ends February 3, 2025,  Recipients Announced March 10, 2025

Two $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in a degree program in mental and behavioral health or psychiatric nursing.  Undergraduate scholarship applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA in the last completed academic year at a four-year institution, or if no college has been completed yet, a 3.5 high school GPA.

Elks National Foundation Legacy Award Competition - Due February 3, 2025
For the 2024 contest, any child or grandchild (or step-child, step-grandchild, or legal ward) of a living Elk who joined the order on or before April 1, 2022, or a charter member of a Lodge that was instituted on or after April 1, 2022, is eligible to apply. The Elk must also be a paid-up member through March 31, 2025. Great-grandchildren are not eligible. The applicant must be a high school senior. The winners will be awarded $4,000 ($1,000 per year for four years).  If selected, students will be required to perform service once a year with an Elks Lodge during the four years the student receives the scholarship.


 AOPA Foundation Aviation Scholarship Program - Due February 7, 2025
This foundation offers numerous scholarship opportunities to AOPA members, from primary training to pursuing a career in aviation. Totaling over $1 million, these include eighty $10,000 scholarships for high school students to train for their private pilot certificate. You must be a member to apply, but can get a free membership as a student.

National School Plant Management Association Scholarship - March 1, 2025
This scholarship seeks to assist qualified students and NSPMA members in good standing who are continuing their education in technical and trade certifications or degrees in facilities and engineering. Any graduating senior is eligible to apply for a scholarship. A total of $5,000 has been budgeted for the program for up to five individuals based on the selection criteria (financial need, academic achievement, co-curricular participation, community service, and essay response). Individual scholarships range from $500 to $1,500 and are based on criteria specified in the application.

Create-A-Greeting Card Scholarship Contest - Due March 3, 2025
Award Amount $10,000- Open to any high school students. To enter, you must submit an original design for a Christmas card, holiday card, birthday card, or all-occasion greeting card. All designs or photographs must be the original work of the applicant.

Steer Your Future Scholarship - Due April 1, 2025
Keith Law Group is thrilled to announce the 2024-2025 "Steer Your Future" Scholarship Initiative, a program dedicated to promoting safe driving habits and raising awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving among the youth of Arkansas. The "Steer Your Future" Scholarship Initiative invites high school students to create compelling digital content that highlights the importance of safe driving. We believe that through creativity and digital engagement, students can play a pivotal role in steering their peers towards making responsible choices on the road.The winner of this year’s scholarship will be awarded $2,000.00 to go towards the student’s secondary educational costs.

The Rover College Scholarship - Due May 1, 2025
Award Amount $2,500- available to graduating high school seniors and current college freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. To be considered, you must submit a 400 - to 500 - word essay on the following topic: "How did growing up with a pet in your life (could be a friend's or family member's) impact the person you are today?"


Association of Arkansas Counties Scholarship - Due May 1, 2025
The Association of Arkansas Counties (AAC) established its Scholarship Trust in 1985 to provide college financial assistance to the children, stepchildren and grandchildren of Arkansas county and district officials and employees. AAC has since awarded more than a quarter of a million dollars in scholarships. Applicants must be an Arkansas high school senior; have financial need; and have at least a 3.0 GPA and 18 ACT.


AASSP Graduating Senior Scholarship - Due May 1, 2025
One scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior student who is a child of an AAEA (Arkansas Association of Educational Administrators) member who's plan of study is in education. AASSP will award one scholarship worth $1,000. The scholarship money will be issued after classes begin in the fall semester. The scholarship may not be used for any part of the previous academic year.


Tan Son Nhut Association Scholarship - Due May 1, 2025
One $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to a high school senior student who plans to attend college in the fall and who is a direct descendant of someone who served in Vietnam for any period from January 1, 1959, to April 30, 1975. Service may be either with the Armed Forces of the United States or the Republic of Vietnam or as a civilian at Tan Son Nhut Air Base either as an American or Vietnamese citizen.  This scholarship is awarded in equal amounts over four years.


Bill of Rights National Civics Contest - May 18, 2025
MyImpact Challenge is a civic engagement contest hosted by the Bill of Rights Institute. Submission is open to US citizens and US-based young people who are between the ages of 13 and 19 and enrolled in middle or high school on January 1, 2025. Prizes range from $1,500 to $10,000.

HVAC Hero Scholarship - May 31, 2025
Every year, The HVAC HERO scholarship program awards $2,500 to up to 20 students pursuing an HVAC degree at a community college, trade school, or technical institute. Only the first 350 applicants will be considered. There are several requirements including your transcript, reference letter, and an essay/video.

June

American Trucks Student Scholarship - Due June 15, 2025
Two $2500 scholarships awarded to students pursuing a career in the traditional building trades such as HVAC, carpentry, electrical, or related fields of study. One scholarship will be awarded for the fall semester, and one scholarship will be awarded for the spring semester each year. Applicants must be planning to attend an accredited school in the next academic year to one of the aforementioned programs.


American Muscle Automotive Scholarships - Due June 15, 2025
This is a $2,500 scholarship awarded to students pursuing an automotive-themed major. Seniors who have exceptional drive and ambition must submit a 500-1,500 essay telling who you are and how you plan to use your automotive education to incite positive change and innovation in the automotive industry. Only students currently enrolled full-time in an American college, Canadian colleges, Automotive Engineering programs, Trade schools, technical institute, or high school seniors planning to attend a college or post-secondary institution are eligible to be awarded a scholarship through this program.


WebstaurantStore, Foodservice, and Hospitality Scholarship - Due June 15, 2025
Grant was created to assist students with an eagerness to further their culinary education. Awarded to one bright student as they pursue their dream of becoming a chef, restaurant owner, or hospitality professional. Eligibility is dependent on current or future enrollment in a Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management program (including Culinary Schools). Create a short bio and your favorite professional photo (.jpeg or .png format). Finally, attach a 500-word essay attachment (in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format) that describes how you became interested in a Culinary Arts or Hospitality career and what you hope to bring to the industry.
