Congratulations to this month's First Security Bank Student of the Month at MHJH: Scarlett Maddock!
From her teacher nomination: "I would like to nominate Scarlett Maddock for Student Leader of the Month due to her exceptional academic performance, work ethic, and positive influence in the classroom. Scarlett consistently submits high-quality work and actively participates in class discussions, often contributing insightful ideas that enhance our learning environment. Beyond academics, Scarlett demonstrates strong leadership by helping classmates understand difficult concepts and working cooperatively in group settings. #SchoolBusSafetyWeek

It's #SchoolBusSafetyWeek, and we want to share a few reminders.
School safety starts at the bus stop. 🚌 🛑 Share these tips with your children:
⌚ Arrive at the bus stop five minutes early.
🚏 Stand five giant steps away from the curb.
🚌 Wait until the bus stops, the door opens, and the driver says it’s okay before
stepping onto the bus.
👁 Be sure the bus driver can always see you, and you can see the bus driver.

Last week at MHJH, Assistant Principal Jason Morris and Nurse Angie Horn helped a student repair her scooter. Thanks to our dedicated staff for going above and beyond to ensure our kids have what they need personally and academically!
